In extrusion, hot moulding material is pushed through a die and pressed into a calibration tool which gives it the desired form of the end product. Extrusion is suitable for producing e.g. pipes, hoses, cables, bars, films, sheetings, strings, profiles etc. The maximum length for products is 6000mm.
